Part of The TV Head Archive, this work explores nostalgia, Black identity, luxury, and speculative futures through a visual language that blends classic portraiture with retro-futurism. Like many of Jay Roby's works, the piece exists outside of a specific timeline, inviting viewers to decide whether they are witnessing a forgotten past or an undiscovered future.
